Economical single-phase electricity meter

I.      FOREWORD

DDSZY06  is  a  direct  connection  type  of single-phase  meter, which  is  used  to  measure  electric energy accurately for residential customers according to the  international standards of energy meter. It measures active energy and features multiple anti-tamper functionalities .

Though the operation is simple, we recommend a thorough reading of this manual before you start any application . The manual covers all the operation including installation, testing and use. The meter is very firm  and  is  able  to  withstand  the  rough  handling  in  the  field.  However,  reasonable  care  in handling will  ensure  a  long-term  defect-free  service.  Sufficient  care  has  been  taken  to  provide  all information  regarding  the  product.  However  no  warranty  for  any  wrong  application  misuse,  wrong installation consequential damage, etc .

3 . 1  Energy measurement

The  meter  measures  positive and  negative active  energy of single  phase two wire  power system with six tariff function .  Previous  24  months  active  energy  data  are  stored  in the  meter. The  active energy data can be read via LCD or optical port 

The  meter  has  non-volatile  memory  (NVM)  that  can  retain  data  up to  30 years  in case of power failure .

3.2   Maximum demand

The meter calculates and store active demand for an integration time of 30 minutes and records MD, date and time .  Previous 12  months’  MD is stored in NVM with occurring date and time. The maximum  demand shall automatically be reset at 24:00  o 'clock of the last day of each calendar month. 

3.3  LCD Viewing data

Meter  LCD  provides  auto-scrolling  mode  and  manual  scrolling  mode  to  display  parameters.  For auto- scrolling mode, the display time of each screen is 10 seconds. For manual display mode- 1 , under auto-scrolling mode and press the  button to page turn display the content of manual display  mode- 1. under auto-scrolling mode and press the button to  hold 3 seconds, meter goes into display the content of manual display mode-2. After one  minute, the  LCD will go back to the auto-scrolling  mode.

At   power  off  condition,    meter  display    can   be   activated   by   press  the    button   and   goes  on auto-scrolling mode and display cumulative  kWh for 20 seconds. And then  it switches off display and goes back to the sleep mode.

LCD provides 8  big digits (No. of digits for energy 6 digits,No. of available decimal,2 digits) for main parameters display. The big digits size is 5 * 10 mm which is wide viewing angle and visible from a distance.
