Parts manufacturing
Shell manufacturing: According to the model and design requirements of the gas meter, select appropriate materials, such as plastic, metal, etc., and manufacture the shell of the gas meter through injection molding, stamping, casting and other processes. The shell needs to have good sealing, corrosion resistance and strength to ensure the safety and stability of the gas meter during use.
Manufacturing of metering components: metering components are the core parts of gas meters, such as the membrane, metering chamber, slide valve, etc. of diaphragm gas meters, and ultrasonic sensors of ultrasonic gas meters. The manufacturing precision of these components is extremely high, and high-precision processing equipment and processes are required, such as precision casting, CNC machining, laser welding, etc., to ensure the accuracy and reliability of measurement.
Manufacturing of transmission components: transmission components are used to transmit the movement of metering components to counters, such as gears, shafts, connecting rods, etc. The manufacturing of these components needs to ensure their transmission efficiency and accuracy, and usually adopts precision machining and assembly processes to ensure the normal metering and display functions of the gas meter.
Assembly
Base meter assembly: Assemble the manufactured parts according to the design requirements to form the base meter of the gas meter. During the assembly process, the assembly accuracy and matching clearance of the parts need to be strictly controlled to ensure the normal operation of the gas meter. For example, the matching clearance between the membrane and the metering chamber of the diaphragm gas meter needs to be precisely controlled to ensure the accuracy of the measurement.

Smart module installation: For smart gas meters, the smart module needs to be installed on the base meter. The smart module includes a microprocessor, a memory, a communication module, etc., which is used to realize the smart functions of the gas meter, such as remote meter reading, prepayment, data storage and transmission, etc. During the installation process, it is necessary to ensure that the connection between the smart module and the base meter is reliable and the communication function is normal.
Detection and debugging
Air tightness test: Perform air tightness test on the assembled gas meter to ensure that there will be no gas leakage during the use of the gas meter. The detection methods usually include pressure test, bubble method, etc. By filling the gas meter with a certain pressure of gas, observe whether there is gas leakage in various parts of the gas meter.
Metering accuracy detection: Use standard metering equipment to detect the metering accuracy of the gas meter to ensure that the metering error of the gas meter is within the specified range. During the detection process, it is necessary to test according to a certain flow range and pressure conditions, record the metering data of the gas meter, and compare it with the metering data of the standard metering equipment. Functional debugging: Debug various functions of the gas meter, such as the display of the counter, the communication of the intelligent module, the control of the valve, etc. During the debugging process, it is necessary to simulate various working conditions of the gas meter in actual use, check whether the function of the gas meter is normal, and make timely adjustments and repairs if problems are found.
Packaging and warehousing
Finished product packaging: Packaging of qualified gas meters, usually using cartons, plastic bags and other packaging materials, to protect the gas meters from damage during transportation and storage. During the packaging process, labels need to be affixed to the gas meters, indicating the product model, specifications, production date, manufacturer and other information.
Warehousing and storage: The packaged gas meters are stored in the warehouse, classified and stored according to the product model, specifications and production date, for easy management and outbound delivery. During storage, the warehouse environment needs to be kept dry and ventilated to prevent the gas meters from being affected by moisture, corrosion, etc.
