Installation requirements of LPG meters
The installation requirements of LPG meters are as follows:
I. Environmental and location requirements
1. Meters with wireless communication functions are strictly prohibited from being installed in confined spaces to prevent signal transmission from being blocked.
2. The installation location must avoid direct sunlight, freezing, pollution and flooded areas, and at the same time be convenient for later disassembly and reading. If it is prone to freezing in winter, effective anti-freeze measures must be taken.

II. Installation and operation specifications
1. When connecting the pipeline and the gas meter, be sure to use the corresponding specifications of the pipe nut, install a sealing ring, and then tighten the nut to eliminate the hidden danger of air leakage; during the installation process, the direction of the air inlet must be strictly checked to ensure correct installation.
2. During construction, the hose and wire must be extra protected. It is prohibited to move the gas meter by pulling the hose to prevent the hose from falling off or the wire sheath from being damaged.
3. Before installing a new pipeline, the internal debris must be thoroughly removed to prevent the gas meter from being blocked and affecting normal use.

III. Specification matching and system requirements
1. Select a gas meter of appropriate specifications according to the pipeline flow rate. It is advisable to use a common flow rate close to or less than the rated common flow rate of the gas meter. The gas meter diameter cannot be determined simply based on the pipeline diameter.
2. The pipeline system above the gas meter should minimize the number of elbows and valves; ensure that the gas meter is always full of gas, and the air pressure is not less than 0.005Mpa when the flow rate is zero. If there is a risk of air entering, a vent valve must be installed upstream of the gas meter to ensure accurate metering.

IV. Other precautions
1. If the gas meter moves slightly when not in use, it is mostly caused by unstable pipeline air flow pressure or other external factors, which is a normal phenomenon.
2. If the above installation precautions are not strictly followed, resulting in damage to the gas meter or accessories, all losses shall be borne by the installer.
